Telehandler-

(General Information)

– Also know as a telescopic handler or teleporter is a heavy lift machine which is most commonly used in farming and industry.  It is similar in appearance and function to a forklift but is more a crane than forklift, with the increased maneuverability of a single telescopic boom that can move in a forwards and upwards movement from the vehicle. The most popular feature of a telehandler is also its biggest limitation: as the boom extends or raises while bearing a load, it acts as a lever and causes the vehicle to lose its center of balance, despite counterweights in the rear. Meaning the lifting capacity decreases when the working radius distance between the load increases. Telehanders can however be equipped with front stabilizers which helps increase the lifting capability of the lift machine. almost all telehanders are built for rough terrain, run on diesel fuel and equipped with pneumatic tires.
